Our Team

Pastor David and his wife Saundra joined New Life Church in August 1993. Both have a background as PKs (preacher's kids), offering them a distinctive perspective on pastoral ministry.

Born in Waterbury, Connecticut, Pastor David spent his early childhood residing in various states due to his father's endeavors in starting home mission churches, serving as a pastor in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Virginia, and Ohio, teaching in several Bible colleges, and evangelizing until his passing in 1978. David sensed the call of God to ministry at the age of nineteen and has been actively involved in the ministry for over four decades. Throughout this period, he served as a youth pastor, evangelist, and associate pastor in Birmingham, Alabama, for seven years before joining New Life Church.

Saundra, born in McComb, MS, and raised in Covington, Louisiana, hails from a family where her father pioneered a church and served as a pastor for many years. In her role as music director, she oversees the praise team, ensemble, and special singing. Celebrating over 35 years of marriage, David and Saundra are proud parents of three daughters: Kristen, Shauna, and Victoria.
